Description
Perched at an altitude of 2222 metres, the Dent d'Oche is one of the emblematic peaks of the Chablais region. Its history is closely linked to the village of Bernex, which sees this peak towering above it in all its magnificence.
To fully appreciate the Dent d'Oche, you can walk to the Pré-Richard, which offers a magnificent view of the summit!
And if you want to get closer, you can hike to the Château d'Oche, which offers a 360° view of Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains (all the way to Mont Blanc!)
Warning - this summit is for good hikers only as it is dangerous. Expect to find aerial and technical sections on the final part as well as areas with cables and chains.
As it is not part of the CCPEVA network of paths, it is the hiker's own responsibility to climb it.
Not recommended for families. Contact the guide office.
