Description
This wash house, built in 1878, has an oval pool with twelve individual stones which means you could kneel down and wash clothes with someone in front of you. The rinsing pool has a trough and the pool measures 8m x 3m.
In his book on "Les Lavoirs de la Région Lémanique", Mr. Robert Huysecom writes: "The ensemble formed by the wash house, the fountains and the drinking trough regroups all the functions essential to daily life and reminds us of the rural past of the hamlet of Concise"
